Common Questions

Frequently Asked Questions

A few things drivers usually want to know before they start.

Is the free case review actually free?

Yes. There’s no cost and no obligation to submit your ticket for a free case review — a real Prairie Tickets traffic agent looks at it personally and gives you an honest read on your options.

How much will it cost if I decide to go ahead?

There’s no flat rate or membership. Every ticket is different, so your case is quoted individually once we know what we’re working with, and any changes are flagged within 24 hours.

Do I have to show up to court myself?

In most cases, no — we handle disclosure, negotiations and court appearances where permitted, so you don’t have to be there. A small number of matters (such as speeds 51+ km/h over the limit in Alberta) require a mandatory court appearance under provincial rules; we’ll walk you through it if yours is one of them.

Are you a lawyer or a law firm?

No. Prairie Tickets is a traffic ticket agency, not a law firm, and nothing here is legal advice. We review your ticket, explain your options and handle the file if you decide to move forward.

What areas do you serve?

We represent drivers in courts across Alberta, Saskatchewan and Manitoba. IRS/SafeRoads reviews are available for Alberta only.

What if my ticket type isn’t listed on your site?

Send it over anyway. If you’re not sure where your ticket fits, we’ll still take a look and let you know honestly whether it’s something we can help with.

What is an IRS/SafeRoads review, and how fast do I need to act?

It’s a review of an Immediate Roadside Sanction in Alberta. There’s a strict 7-day window to request one, so if you’ve been issued an IRS, reach out right away.
